About Duane Corey

Duane Corey

Duane was born in North Carolina and raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut where he developed a love of the arts through reading comic books. Duane is self taught. His style utilizes generous brush strokes and is complimented by fine detail to glorify urban settings, sports legends and historical narratives. At his very best Duane excels at Afrocentric folk themes that inspire and uplift. Duane is a Morehouse College graduate and has done post graduate studies at Sacred Heart University. Duane work has been displayed at Fairfield University, The Yogi Berra Museum, The National Past Time Museum, and the Harlem Fine Art Show. He has been recognized and honored as artist of the month by both the Fairfield Patch and the Yogi Berra Museum.
